First date? I won't want to spend so much. It's not that i'm being stingy or whatsoever. But of course, bring her to somewhere nice and not make yourself appear as though you are going out for the sake of going out with her. If not, that would make you look pathetic.
Don't even spend a bomb as well, because for all you know, it might not be worth it. Perhaps a comfortable meal at some casual dining restaurant or even proper foodcourt will do, and plus some comfortable activity like watching a movie. $30 for the day does the job for you. Bingo

I notice a trend, as the age increase, the amount spent per date increases as well.
normally first date will spend about $100+, record was $260

Not true leh, some dates can be 19 bucks only 18 bucks for half a braised duck, 1 dollar for 2 plates of rice.

on first date, usually dont like to go see movie. so less interaction. usually on first date like to walk walk, go window shopping or just walk walk at park or wad la..

i dont know leh.. but for once im a lucky guy. gals do ask me out for lunch or just tea break with the intention of treating me..
