As someone who have to work the whole day and missing most of the live telecast of the Olympic games, I looke forward to the nightly Channel 5 "Today in Beijing" for the daily roundup of the Olympics. But so far it has been a disappointment. I find Jade Seah and Mark Richmond very awkward as commentators and the snippets of the games shown were too short.
And for tonight's programme (Friday, Aug 15), noticed that quarter finals of most games were featured, but badminton semi-finals were not mentioned at all. Badminton is a popular sports in this part of the world, so am surprised it was not featured at all. Could it be Channel 5 was biased because a certain Malaysian player who beat Susilo in the first round was in the semi-final and now going to the final match?
