My dad is Heng Hua but I don't know how to speak it. I grew up learning my mum's dialect which is Hakka/Ho Po.
No.... I am not a Singapore PR either. I was born in Brunei..... I had been living all my life as a foreigner in Brunei (only with a sponsored visa). I know it's complicated.... but long story...

oh.. Brunei. Thats interesting. Brunei and Sg have certain ties right ? Not so sure about Brunei stuff.. only know i kana shafted in the ass by a Brunei partner.

Do you know that people from Brunei like going to Miri to do shopping? I used to go there pretty often. Took my mum there at least once a month to buy meat and other stuffs. Cheaper there. The people in Miri like to accuse the people from Brunei for making their things more expensive.
I am going home (Brunei) for CNY next year and will be making a visit to Kuching, KK and Mulu caves too.

Mulu caves is good. Thats where i sprained my knee on the first day of the trip. 3 days 2 nights there i went to see the bat caves.. guano mountain. lol. I quite keen to do cave exploring.. and those super long hikes. U need to stay there like a week at least to properly do any of those things.
Oh.. the so called 'hot springs' ? Dun bother going to check that one out. I sprained my knee to get there.. only to find that i have to pay RM 2 to this kampung girl...and u get to see a small pool.. with some bubbles coming out of it. N its not even 'hot' or 'warm'.
KK pretty good. Beach clubs n stuff. ;p he he...

Probably won't have time to stay there for a week.... Going to sign up for the3D2N tour that takes us to the popular part of mulu caves only.
As for KK, actually haven't really decided what to do yet as my whole purpose is to go to the Orang Utan rehabitation sanctuary in Sandakan.
I haven't been to Kuching for more than 10 years so would love to visit again...and also I would love to show my hubby my "home" town.... we are going to spend only 3 days there too..

Well, Kch has changed.. for the past 10 years by quite a lot. 3 days in Kch.. mmm... what to do in Kch ar.. i also not quite sure. I know got Orang Utans, got scuba diving... got mountain climbing... n just eat.

What kind of shop is it and where about?
Probably spend most of the times eating... including nice seafood by the sea... forgot the name of the place though. Also take hubby to visit the Cat museum, Cultural Village....
I also miss their Golo mee... the curly curly type. Nice!

U go Tun Jugah Shopping mall, its on the other end.. turning. Corner shop. Near Soho. Opposite Pizza Hut . ;p Are u a member of any Denise Wine Shop franchise ?
Seafood is ... mm.. its by the beach.i also forgot the name liaw. Cat Museum o.k ar. Batik museum in town ?Cultural village is not bad also.
Kolo Mee. ;p U should eat Kampua. A few good kolo mee in kch muust know where to go to eat the good ones.. n the laksa.. slurp.. oh man.. food...
