  Ok. I have decided to sign up with my neighbourhood's family service centre for volunteer activities. May be meeting up with the person in charge tomorrow. Im looking forward!

  I am a working adult already. Besides, voluntary work does not take up really a lot of time. It really depends on your committment level.

  the most effective form of volunteer work comes in the form of cold hard cash.

  those in the medical profession have the ability to contribute significant help too.

  but if you're simply looking for a rewarding experience, a sense of fulfilment, do spend some time assessing your preferences and expertise first?

  for example, if you're in the education industry, you can teach...

  in the media line you can provide performances, or volunteer as a videographer...

  if you want to start simple, you can opt for manual work such as painting walls, delivering food etc... 

  Down Syndrome Association of Singapore, World Vision Organization Singapore, and many old folks home are good places to start.
