Hubby and I took a day off last time to attend a friend's wedding on a Friday. I guess it is a matter of how close you think you're to the friend/relative.

lol ok... coz the restaurant that i wan hor all the weekends till 2010 kena booked le... so have to take a weekday... the "ji re" is on monday wor... so i am very worried if it will deter them from coming

ok but yeah i'd still go.why not. it's a joyous occasion, going on a weekday isn't going to be a factor. if ppl are gonna be so concerned which day it falls on, means they're really not that sincere about celebrating your wedding with you.

For me, I wld lar..
But i hav ever went to a weeknight wedding dinner & the atmosphere wasnt as good as it was if held on weekends. Cos frenz & relatives wll arrive late, then dinn start late and before the dinn ends, most of the guests leaving liaoz..& also, the host may hav to close some tables cos a handful of them din turn up at the last min.
Orite...orite..im exaggerating. If ur character is good, no matter how inconvienent, ur frenz & relatives will sure be there de lar.
