I define success as the number of people who like and respect you. The more the merrier. ![]()
Of course you cant please everyone, even if you want to others might not appreciate, or you might not even know how to.
1. family
2. friends
3. $$
success in life, imo.. is the number of ppl who genuinely love you and feel the loss as you lay on your death bed.

dat easy.........
rich ppl always got ppl who like and respect them.....
but the moment they run into diff or prob, the merriment is gone....
these ppl are there for the money not friendship......
true friendship in this world is hard to find.....

This is a good one, I like ![]()
actually, the getting that people to like you part is easy but maintaining it is hard.
Success to me is how well you integrate career with family. Career defined as the intersection of your interests, a viable market, and the skills you have. If you have such a career, and can balance that with time spent /closeness with family, that's success for me.

IMHO, that is quite individualistic. A "Me, Myself & I" attitude towards life.
If you pursue life to achieve something for yourself, then what happens if you can't achieve it, it will make you feel more miserable. (I emphasis it's not wrong though)
Perhaps, success in life is having to know how much you have given out and touching people's life.
"If A is success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein, Jan. 15, 1950US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955)
Able to satisfy most of your wants in your life...
Success to me is being able to provide generously for my family, parents especially. And earning respects from people all over the world for bringin them happiness (note i din state "all people" ).

Dumbdumb, i saw a rich guy very successful in life.. at his death bed.. his kids and wife all at his side. crying very badly. At the moment, he is gone. They cry even harder ... and i heard:" papa, why ? why? why all the money not mine.. all go charity.. why you don't love me..?" ==> Genuinely Love for Money. But at least he manage to have his family with him at his death bed. Smart and successful man.
Living my life well
When you can afford buying expensive things without relying on credit cards.
Success in life is when you are in love and being love. And also when you are enlighted to understand that Life is not a Race.
Success is the ability to provide LOVE to your loved ones and the people you are able to love. ![]()
The more successful you are in life, the more love you are able to provide for all your loved ones and the more love you are able to provide for the people.
Success in life for girls will be when they hook their husband who can afford their above $30k diamond ring. ![]()
Success in life for guys will be to avoid footing the bill for the $30k diamond ring. ![]()
Ooops................
Too bad....some guys even with MINIMUM 30k ring are not even good enough to have me.
They need to be good enough first to qualify. ![]()

when i said what i said. i meant, they cry because their lives were really touched and changed by him directly or indirectly for the better. and they are really crying because they lost someone dear to them. =)
When I am happy,I feel successful.

perhaps wrong step, ended up with too many commitments, then cannot let go.
