i agree with cherrycola, these kind of people must have felt out of control with their lives, so the only thing they can control is the cutting of their bodies and the pain makes them feel alive.
as for the reason why her favourite blog list are all about cutters like what cuddles mentioned, she must have only felt only cutters understand her feelings and she understand theirs.

Its kinds obvious its a very attention seeking kind of thing and she isnt really sad.
Real sad people would want an escape, seek solace in solitary.

She may not be putting up those pics to gain sympathy. She mentioned that she is seeing a psychiatrist and has been checking in and out of the mental hospital. There is definitely something very wrong with her mental condition already. By putting up those pics reflects that. -

There surely are other ways to relieve the pain they're suffering from other than self mutilation.

Yeah it's very sick to see those pictures on her blog. I wonder what her parents are doing to help her. Seems like her condition is a super extreme case. Omg.
She's already addicted to self mutilation and it becomes part of her life. Something is seriously wrong with her mind. I really hope these kind of people find the real help they need and stop doing all these stupid things to themselves.
