How to tell parents?

  dun wedding dinner jump straight to honeymoon. unless u wan taiwan relative fly to sg or sg one fly to taiwan

  why ask here... wedding dinner is father settle one. He is the host, according to chinese tradition, as stated in the wedding invitaion cards...

  think you have to somehow coax your gf gently to have the dinner. Cannot be too straightforward to her because she already disagree. Have u found out why she dun wan dinner?

  we are thinking abt implications down the line. In years to come, it's better to hold a dinner than none because it is not something u can hold any other year later, plus ur gf mgt also regret later but cannot do anything liao.

  your best bet is to make ur gf as comfortable as possible in the process while cajoling her to host dinner. Already her parents do not have a very good impression of u le, u dun want ur gf in times of marital trouble to fly over and to have her parents support her to break off with u.

  how you handle things now in times of stress will define u as a man or not.

  taiwan is a must, from her parents' point of view you took advantage of her. as a girl society won't be as kind if find out she pregnant before marriage.

  you must think for her and let her know why must have dinner.
