  I suggest getting her a Honda S2000 if she got a licence to drive.

  But if you friend is super poor, then maybe he can get her a MINIMUM 30k ring.

   

  If either also cannot afford, then your friend should get himself a BETTER JOB as his girlfriend's birthday present.
