I'm currently studying business in a polytechnic. I was thinking of pursuing the accounting path as I'm extremely interested in numbers. However, I'm aware that there are many people wtih accounting background, thus market might have already been saturated long ago. Is it a good choice if I continue pursuing this path and still be able to land an accounting job or any job related to it?
Second choice is that, I'm looking at the mathematics side. Is there any university program that offers some kind of business degree majoring in mathematics or statistics or some sort?
And what are the career choices am I being opened to?
Thanks for all of your help. I already tried googling but am not able to fully understand what's going on.
Thanks!
Accountancy is very hard to get into in local uni but i don't think the sector is saturated since i heard alot of them quit their jobs after some years.
NTU offers a maths degree as well as a maths with econs degree, not sure whether NUS has something similar. I think ppl with maths degree can still join the banking line since thats what my friend plans to do.
