no, go find philippine gals to work for my pub, got lots of seamen looking for philippine gals, so got contact there at Manila.
Anyway, MC is a benefit and entitlement, dun feel remorseful or worry about taking them, bosses cannot do anything to you, if they dismiss u due to MC, u can alway go MOM and lodge a complain or sue him in civil court. The 14 days MC by employment act come about thru the study of Panels of Doctors, they claim that the most a person can fall sick per years is 14 days +/- 4 days. If more than that, mean something is wrong with this person health, he/she needs a medical checkup or admit to hospital.

of cos no lah, mc is a benefit, an entitlement of employment, unless u took over 14 days per year, then it will take into your annual leaves, if no more annual leaves, then unpaid leaves.
When u wanted to resign from a company, depend on the nos of years u worked there, before confirmation, u have to give 24 hrs notices,
after confirmation, 1st to 3rd years, can be one week or two weeks, after 3rd to 5 years can be 3 weeks notices. After 5 years, mostly will be 1 month notice.
Same goes to Bosses, they hv to give you notices as per above, if they decided to ask u to go immediately, then they hv to paid you the notice period, same goes to you, if u decide to go immediately, u also hv to pay the boss. The Laws work both way.
As an employees, we must learn to be more professional, learn your rights, speak with volume and weight, when bosses find that you can talk and reason thing out, they are more worry of you than u are worry of them. And for a good boss who can identify your talent and professionalism, you may get promoted.
