whereby you didn't swallow properly and some food gets stuck somewhere in the Esophagus (gullet) area.
it's not painful or anything, but mildly uncomfortable.
and when you drink water, you can feel the thing there.
it's been about 1.5 days, but i don't wanna go doctor yet, maybe some time later if problem is still there. Not sure if require surgery......:(
i've tried drinking hot water to melt away the thing and jumping up and down, but seems useless.
btw, the thing i swallowed is those anti-biotic pills that's a bit rubbery-plastic, you know.......those that comes in 2 colors at both ends and inside is the powder.
i think i swallowed that yesterday using cold water instead of hot, and it never went down properly.
better go check it up for a doctor.
more stuffs will get choked up there easily.
in the past when i get something similar, i will just use my finger dig very inside to the max my finger can reach, and get the vomit feeling try to vomit it out lor, with the feeling, the passage way will widen, either it goes down, or it comes out of your mouth.

a bit funny sth so small can be stuck there?!
can probably wash down with a warm glass of water
drink warm water.... if really no use...see a doc

I swallow vitamin c or panadol also got the "stuck" feeling leh... but after a while no more discomfort...

dont worry la,i got fish bone stuck at my throat before,urs is capsule. if sreally stuck on ur throat,it will like dissolve eventually

not sure if it's tablet, but it really feels like it.
i'm going to doc tonight, though. hope they don't rerquire surgery to open my chest or cut open my throat etc.

another cause of the feeling tht there is something at ur throat is when u swallow the capsule,maybe the capsule got like 'bruise' the inside of ur throat,so now it feels like there is something at ur throat even though nothing is there.
If this is the case,drink more water and dont eat seafood so as to prevent infectiooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!

went to see family doctor today and told her i feel my wei4 (the gastric - stomach area) a bit painful.
not the throat area, but the gastric area.
when i swallow the food and it goes down, it's all normal, but when the food flows down into around the gastric area, i can feel a bit of pain (not really pain, but something uncomfortable).
i suspect is previously ate some pimple pills from another doctor which is too strong and that's why hurt the gastric area.
now, this family doctor gives me some gastric protection pills and gastric dysfunction pills. :-)

yea fish bones are an ass...
i got chickenbone stuck at my throat before...those small bits from boney chicken rice..

i've tried noodles and vegies before...lol
I think you should try a full mouth of rice, or similar things. Maybe it can help pull down the capsule.
