hi, advice pls, is a windbreaker good enough for keeping warm in air-cond places ah? cos they seem so much thinner than jackets... working at paragon now, super cold
See if you can withstand the cold..if you can't... I think windbreaker not good enough.
Well windbreaker wont keep the cold out... but if the workplace you are at has aircon blowing at you then i think windbreaker would be useful... Other then that you should go for jackets as it's original purpose is to keep warm...
Btw, i've worked in paragon before... I don't think it's cold... Maybe can try turning off the air curtain since that is the only thing u can control... The aircon is centralised so you cant do anything about the temp...
icic.. so will still feel cold despite the long sleeves and all?
haha i work at the upstairs now, the many aircon vents right above me. but for most part of paragon its actually abit not enough aircon.

Long sleeves and all wont save u when ur hands starts freezing... Does your shop have an air curtain? if the shop u're working has one, trying offing it if possible...
i see.. dun think so.. it's actually toysrus haha. anyway haven been seeing many sales for jackets around despite the season end
the shop no issue uniform meh?
then u shd feedback to the management to supply u all jackets, coats, windbreaker, blazer....
ya, windbreaker enough for aircon place lah
the only uniform is a lousy polo tee =/ yea haha on top of that shld throw in one yr's supply of toys..
toysrus!!
lol sick of hearing their song already.. keep playing back nonstop..
i dont wanna grow up, i'm a toysrus kid..
just any plastic raincoat that can keep your body heat within will do
prefer those with rubberband at the wrist and waist and zip up to neck
sweatshirt should do the job...

walao...he/she will sweat like a bucket and stink like a fish dude
windbreaker should be suffice to stuff the coldness out of ur body ba...
and windbreaker easier to wash compared to jacket?? i think? haha
Depends... for me enough...
When your body feel cold it will generate heat from stored energy (in the liver) to combat the cold. When this is depleted your fight against cold will be on the losing end, and you will start shivering to generate more heat.
The way to deal with the cold is not to lose body heat in the first place.
Dress comfortably warm at the very begining of your day. The best way is to have layered clothing. T-shirt over shirt, vest over shirt, jacket over vest. Not necessary exactly like that, but that should give you an idea.
You take off or add on as you feel warm or cold.
Starting the day with a good breakfast also helps.
Clothes are not warm, they only retain heat, if there is no heat (energy) in your body, then the clothes won't work.
do you even know what a windbreaker is for? if u want something for aircon places may i suggest adidas jacket or something.
wind breaker for "breaking wind"
ya, jacket better.
icic.. haha windbreaker for protecting from rain and wind while running?
thanks le. anyway now adidas having sales, but those items on sale look quite dated
windbreaker not rainproof leh
icic.. the mizuno windbreaker i saw claims tt it can block out the rain. maybe is drizzle, haha
did it specially state "rainproof"?
for normal windbreaker, if oni drizzle still ok lah
the water wun seep through so fast
lol..
Damn i love jackets. But i cant imagine wearing jackets or windbreakers in S.E Asian coutries. Its just insane. hahaha
i'll check tmr, haha, walking around paragon nearly everyday. but maybe drizzle-proof, cos the material really 'tight'
anyway bought a 'pescados' jacket already. looks like some local brand. aiya indoors wear ok mah, not like wearing for a suntan or what
