I brought my pants to a tailor to alter the width, today went to collect, he look around then say he gave it some other guy. then ask me afternoon then go collect.
then afternoon my mum go collect cause i got driving lesson and he closes at 4pm then he said that the person havent come return yet and say give a few days more then he will return citing that the other party is fat and cannot wear my pants.
note that my pants is plain black g2000 while the other party's supposedly his pants is black with white stripes no brand pants.
my mum ask if the person never return how? he will bring receipt and he will pay.
but the thing is, the pants bought for 3 months plus already and I need it on tuesday for presentation. who the hell keeps receipt for 3 months plus?
if bring up to CASE, got any case?
the pants took me some time to find as I bought the matching blazer in a sale then the pants couldn't be found anywhere until I heng heng got it in Marina Square. It cost about $79 to $99 either those 2 prices.
If tuesday I dont get it nvm, I got other pants but I need it on saturday for my brother's wedding and my other pants cannot match my blazer due to the colour difference under light.
anyone?
i seriously doubt anyone can give you any worthwhile advise.
i personally have never encountered such a problem.
I know man, my mum also say i am damn suay to kena this.
Hey man i pity you.. why not go back to him and ask him to make a pair of pants for you as a form of collatarel? it's his fault and he's pulling you down. fuck him up
edit: CASE - http://www.case.org.sg/
hmm...
when u pass the pant to the tailor , did u juz pass it to him/her without any "receipt" as backup??
... why don't you use a belt? That would save you the trouble.
Anyway, I seriously think you had nothing you can do but go buy an expensive pants and ask him to pay you.![]()

No, the receipt I meant was the one which I was given when I bought my pants from G2000, not the one he gave me
So potentially now he owes me $94 or $114

Don't worry, the tailor will definitely pay you back the cost of your pants as promised...even though if you don't have the receipt with you anymore.
Sometimes you need to have certain faith in people. It's only $99 and the tailor won't go bankrupt because he had to pay you $99.
He earns more than enough to return you your $99. ![]()

For your info, even if they want to refer to the case for judgement, they cannot. Cos SG law is not like US... only cases under british law can be refered.

unfortunately some people are so chao-kuan that even if they are in the wrong...they will not compensate...or bargain down the amount.
being able to afford the compensation or not is not the issue.
I dont know how he can compensate you..
Ask for a personalise pants back lor. Tailor-made pants more expensive.

If the tailor is smart enough, he will ask his pretty and innocent 18/f never-had-a-boyfriend-before daughter to negotiate the compensation with TS.
It will only take seconds for TS to become a Yes-Man. ![]()
somehow i find this thread funny~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's Murphy's Law for you.
That pants is important to you, and that has to happen.

Well said there, parn.
I think you deserve a tuxedo as compensation from the tailor
