Hi bro.
I'm very into prawning, I frequent the one at Bishan about 3 days a week. Got my own rod from Beach Rd as the stock ones at Bishan aren't very good, it's great for a beginner but once you get a hang of it, getting your own rod is the way to go mate.
Anyone else into prawning?

Prawning and fishing outdated already....why not own your own cows instead?
At least you can have your fresh milk and make your own cheese for breakfast everyday.
Maybe when the cow die eventually, you can lifetime supply of unlimited steaks and sausages and beef mince. And can even make your own cow leather accessories too!
But of course, I was joking.
You can now buy your prawns and fishs and even beef from many supermarkets around Singapore.

I used to prawn for the prawns for BBQ with gf and/or friends or bring home to give my family to cook and eat. But we got sick of eating prawns, haha. So nowadays, just prawn for the kick of prawning. Usually give my catch to small children or random chio bus over there
So bro, where do you prawn? BTP, PRPP, Birdpark or Bishan like me?

fishing is my cup of tea ......
maybe because you pay to prawn .... and I don't like paying to fish in a stocked pond ...

Fishing is fun too. Where do you fish Fatum? I wish twice a month at Tanjong Pinang, Indonesia. Caught loads of sting rays about a 150cm in diametre. Planning to go again during the holiday season. What rod do you use btw?

same as u, at bishan. . .
i don actually frequent there, but sometimeswill juz pop over there with some frens and catch up on each other's live while prawning. . .

nowadays I do mostly lure fishing, but I haven't fished much for the past year .... last catch was months ago .... ended up with a small golden trevally, I have the pic on my hp, see if I can dig it out later.
for that I have a custom stick mounted with a abu 5600D6 loaded with fireline crystal, for light boat duties I use an old abu 6500CT rocket reel from my surf casting days ... it takes super lines very well cos there's no levelwind.
I used to fly-fish in singapore too, but most of my fav spots have been destroyed now, so those rods are in storage ... my standard issue for that is a lamiglass 9 feet 7weight with a fenwick.

Your gear's quite good mate, I fish around twice a month so I'm average, I'd say. I'm trying to figure out how do I post pictures here and will post my gears and catches:)

Usually he goes off-shore fishing
What he brought home the last trip. He gave away some of the fishes he caught coz too many liao. Previous trips also have pretty similar yields so far

there are a few other forumers around that likes fishing too ....
maybe we can arrange a boat trip or something ...
I haven't fished much in the past year .... hope to do a lot more of that in the coming year ...

hi bro.. how is bishan catch rate? i being going pasir ris farmway 1 & 3, jurong hill and pasir ris park.. the best catch rate was marina south.. too bad.. it closed le..
