can any1 reccomend some trusted money changers as they provide better rates than bank?

In Singapore, you should have more confidence in the skills of the money changers in here.
They are not as dumb as you to receive fake notes unknowingly. ![]()

Go Foreign Exchanges of Banks. There are a couple even at Changi Airport. Just don't visit ulu ulu ones (most are safe, though).

In singapore the money changers are very good. When they transfer money through the glass window, there is a small lamp that emits ultraviolet rays and we all know that a certain part of the note will illuminate under UV rays.
