of service staffs, my mum has a really cute encounter today. An Mrt
service staff, a PRC girl, was trying to speak to my mum in English.
But my mum couldnt hear a thing. She told me she felt like telling that
girl to just quit trying to sound american and speak mandarin.
Yes, the cheena 'american" accent.
My mum felt like punching that girl in the face.
PRC
chinese people learn english words word by word, including the accent.
But they will sound like total gibberish when they try to string all
those single words into a sentence.
