There's no easy way to get honours one....Life has no shortcuts....
maybe ppl now so smart that it takes shorter period to graduate? LOL!
i agree with lianamaster.
if 1 yr can get an hons degree, why the hell do our youngsters slog it out for 3-4 yrs at nus, ntu, and smu??
pardon me and no disrespect, but i tink that degree is equivalent to a dipolma in the eyes of most employers.

Very true... Like that our local uni can fold up already... That's certainly impossible..haha...
Better to enrol at accredited universities...
Go london can get direct 4 years masters (no need degree) in engineering in a reputable university.
Wah! i thought that my part time degree of 1.5years (After the exemptions) is a very short course..Didn't realise that there are shorter courses available..LOLs..
I think this is a honours course for people who already have another degree from somewhere else.
If you want to look for a degree... best to find one that takes around 2 years... if you get something like a direct honors with 1 year?? Most likely your degreee will not be recognised... so why waste your $$?
FirePig might be correct... I don't know...
I will not go for it for sure...most employer will not take 1 year degree course...somemore as you mentioned it comes with direct honors.....

I just know that govt will subsidise up to 40% for any adult enrolling in UniSim degree , anyone know if the degrees are recognised even when degrees by UniSim are being subsidised by the govt ?

yeah...the degrees are recognised and accepted in Singapore. How recognised exactly is it? You will have to ask employers all over singapore.
The correct method to see how recognised that degree is, is to check with the civil service.
If its accepted by civil service sector, it should be recognised everywhere in Singapore. Maybe not overseas though.
Employers are picky nowadays, even with a degree, if you cannot show proof of previous capabilities, they still wont employ you.
im a ccb spammer!
if one year can get a reputable honours degree.....
then why the hell is my father paying 4k per semester for 4years?? ![]()

Honours degree for engineering in NUS/NTU is recognized (supposedly) to be equivalent to Masters in the U.K. due to SARTOR accreditation.
