Haha, i suddenly thought about this inicident, quite funny, even though it happened so many years ago.
That time i was about 10 or 11 years old only. My parents brought me to geylang to eat durians at the durian stalls, where u can sit by a table to eat your durians. Saves u the hassle of lugging it back home to eat, or risk fouling up your car or public transports.
My parents told me to sit by the table while they went to choose some durians. i saw a durian shell under the table n got irritated by it. so i gave it a kick n it ended up on the grass patch near the lorong lane.
a naughty idea struck then struck me. i went to purposely kick the durian shell until it ended up on the lorong lane.
After seeing that theres no cars coming by, i stood in the middle of the lane n position the thorny husk so that its lying nicely.
my parents saw me by the road n they scolded me n told me not to play there since its dangerous. so we sat down n eat durians n i waited for a car to come n travel by n hopefully get its tire punctured by the spikes!
so i waited n some cars went by, but missed coz i think the drivers saw the obstacle on the road n avoided it. then later on i saw one car run over it n it had a slight bump like when going over a hump. n the durian shell was flattened n rolled a bit. then i wonder if the car later on will have a punctured tire??oops. if 7 years ago, any one of u driving a white car along this geylang lorong next to a big durian stall got ur tyre punctured, i'm truly sorry.
