Learning Golf

  Hey forumers. I'm planning to take up Golf but i have no clue how to play it. Can anyone recommend me good schools? I was thinking of joining with a friend and having an instructor attached to us.

  Go to those driving ranges.

   

  Likely there might be a few golf instructors giving golf lessons there.

  Not that I know of.

   

  It's independent I think.

   

  Check with them lah.  Only they can tell you everything you need to know.

   

  I do believe however that most of the golf instructors are professional players who participate in tournaments around the region.  So standards should be reasonably good.

  Is the PC test done by the instructor or a neutral body? Anyone able to tell me about this PC? Like what i can do with it etc.

  hit 10,000 balls in the driving range first before u talk about test

  you usually need to take about 6 lessons before going for proficiency certificate. in between lessons, you're also expected to go to driving range to practice.

  Try Paul Tudor at Orchid Country Club. He is very knowledgable and friendly. He taught me more in 2 lessons than I learnt in 10 lessons at Seletar.

  To learn golf at those country clubs u need to be member one, and costs almost about 100+SGD...

  -Keppel Club(I'm member there)

  -Orchid country club

  but depends where you stay lor..
