Anyone know why HDB flat blk 8 in Hougang Ave 3 is closed??

Appealing to those living in hougang, esp Hougang Ave 3 area. Of all the blocks in the area, all are old buildings, but why is only block 8 closed? everytime I take bus 72 pass that block, it gives me an eerie feeling, especially when I pass it at night.... is block 1 also demolished? i know block 1 got one hot chinese teenager stay there. she alighted the bus.. walk to that block & took the lift up at block 1!!!

Got once, in the corner of my eye, I thought I saw someone at the staircase area... But when I turned my head to look at that point, there is no one. dunno my eyes play tricks on me or is that place really haunted!

Civil defence doing their trial and exercise there, as most of surrounding flats are old, at anytime, something may happen, so they are practicing on how to rescue peoples on an empty flat -
