The bloody construction work going on right behind my bedroom is DRIVING MY CRAZY!!! They drill into walls as though there's gold in it every single day (except Sunday), starting from 8+ in the morning all the way till 6 in the evening for that HDB Lift Upgrade Program, and it's expected to end on the 3rd quarter of this year?! That's hella half a year!
As per topic title, if you know where I can find cheap ear muffs that are able to cancel background noises pretty well, like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Peltor-H10A-Professional-Canceling-Earmuff/dp/B00009LI4K/
at a local store, of course, please let me know. Thanks for reading this far.

That's cheaper than a bus trip! Do you mean it's selling at the Army Market?

Well, if it wasn't THAT loud, I wouldn't have posted this topic in the first place, though I can't believe my sis in the other bedroom is sleeping so soundly when she would quarrel over the house dog for barking early in the morning. Let me briefly describe to you how loud it is, in simple words: I rather hear my mum nagging all day.
It's 45 minutes to the workers' lunch time, and I'll have an hour of peace. Finally.
I think you can try hunting online at the different blog shops. Can definitely find cheap ear muffs there but gotta wait for the shipping and stuff. Not very sure but probably Bugis will have cheap ear muffs? or probably Beach Road?
Wow Peltors, surely its not that bad you need what people use in firing ranges and racing tracks?
Anyways they aren't ear muffs. Ear muffs keep yr ears warm. They're more like ear protectors or plugs or something.

Thats worse. He would probably rather listen to the construction noise.
You need ear plugs, not ear muffs.
Either you stuff cotton wools into your ears, or pick up those cheapo soft ear plugs at maximum $1/- a pair.
Those that aircraft traffic signaler used or the weapons shooter used are are like earphones with a headband known as a muffler.
If the noises is that bad the whole day, you dont want to get those mufflers cos you are going to get a bad headache a hour or more with it.
Or some of those earplugs that comes with your swimming goggles.
expandable foam ear plugs would probably do the trick and are much less bulky and wont get in the way.
