Tourism industry
im currently studying tourism in ngee ann poly
However i probably will not want to do something tourism related when i grow up
i was being retarded when choosing courses etc
I got in Hospitality and Tourism Management course and I definately going for it.
so what is it that you would like to do after you graduate from school...?
maybe there's a way to link it to what you are studying now?
if u mean just find a job in the industry
i think it's quite easy la
provided u make the mark la
but to rise to the top is another thing le i think
cuz the top positions are mostly occupied by FTs i think
so maybe u can oni be the å°虾米 or ä¸è™¾ç±³
but i oso not very sure la!

would you like to spend years quarrelling with uncouth mainland tourists about lunch while leading them around sentosa and the zoo holding a white flag ? ....
or spend years smiling through gritted teeth behind the reception counter trying to get indians and arab tourists to pay for the towels and telephones they've pinched from the hotel ? ...
I'm glad I'm not in this industry ....
what i really want to be is a teacher
i actually put jc as first choice but failed to get in
do you think its a worthy investment to drop from my course
it's still my first year in it.
what would you like to teach....?

i dont know
what do most people who end up like that wish they had done?
that's why it's always good to have a back up =D
i'm not sure what you cover in your courses. so i'm not sure what you CAN do with it after you graduate...
but hmm...what i meant was...what subjects are you interested in teaching. and there's always if you do really well in poly, you can go straight to uni =P
The main subjects i guess
maths
english
science
humanities
any of those are fine, they require diff degrees and diff nie courses i think
also it is very unlikely that i will make it to uni after poly, it would be stupid of me to believe that there is a good chance of going uni after poly for me
think no sector good now. tourism on the decline. go do nursing or psychology,. they are better prospects

One of the powerhouse that fuel singapore's economy is tourism. So i guess it isn't bad?
TS, then start to plan what you want to do and decide on a course to take.
Someone encouraged me to go for tourism but I think it is not an industry to be in right now.
Its not right now, how about 3 years later, what's the projection like?
Cannot see short term, must see long term, the word is "sustainability".![]()
Don't think you want to be in a company that gives you big fat bonuses this year, then right after tell you, they will cut your pay coz you had big fat bonuses not long ago.![]()
