mi not christian. and i have gone vege a couple of times. for fun-ish =P not really. sometimes i just feel like it....like...recently i feel this strange urge to go vegan...>.<

Was Buddha vegetarian? I don't think so.......
Are monks vegetarians? .....I think they eat what the devotees give them, lard and all....
so why are some people trying to be 'better' than Buddha or the monks?
Jesus ate fish and miraculously multiplied many more pieces of fish for the hungry people.

This only applies to monks from the Theravada tradition. Mahayana monks are to abide in vegetarian meal. -
