Help On PUBLIC TRANSPORT

  1) Because its cheaper than buying your own car, and maintaining it. And public transport fares are not in anyway linked to oil prices, as mentioned by our transport minister, unlike cars.

  2) The best time to take buses and trains are from 6am to 12mn daily. And the best time to take cabs are between 12mn to 7am daily. Because there are no bus and trains services between 12mn to 6am, other than the first, and last ones, and taxis would start their weekday peak surcharges from 7am onwards, I'm pretty sure you want to avoid that.

  1) It's cheaper and can help to save the enviroment.

   

  2) 6am - 6.30am(MRT)  9am - 11.30am(Bus)  Anytime(Taxis)

  -Coz save enviroment, and now market crisis so need save money

  6am->8am MRT, Off Peak hours Buses, Taxi very worse.

  1. more singaporeans should take public transport because some of them become car owners for a very, very long time and they kinda didnt realise that for some destinations, public is fastest! just looking at those ppl queueing in their cars to enter taka makes me very happy to just pop up from beneath taka by train.
  
  2. driving is best when there are no public transport services available. or for going to places that are inaccessible from home. like for me, i stay near tampines ctrl. 2mins frm mrt station. but i still use the family car to get to certain places. i drive to sch, 45mins by car, 1hr 40mins by public. i drive to upp thomson late at night for prata (no buses go there). or drive to west coast for seafood at ayer rajah hawker centre (30mins compared to 1hr 20mins by public).
  
  HOWEVER, i NEVER drive to these places : orchard, city hall, vivocity, tampines mall

  Public transport is for people who know how to drive, but don't know how to park their cars.
