Does anyone know is Mustafa Centre a good place to shop? I heard the service there is very bad.
if i can get things there easily and cheaply...
well just give me the goods and i'll be off. ![]()
family bought LCD TV there, dslr there.... everything there. ![]()
to some it may be gd whereas to others, its juz vice versa..
There is this smell in Musafa, that i don't really like. And during weekends, the area will be fully packed with people.
I must say that many of the stuffs are slightly cheaper, but i would prefer other places to buy my stuffs instead. Provided that i have sufficient cash.
i like their variety of frozen food (:
mustafa alot of ah nehss.s.s.s.
To me, its a good place to shop. Window shop also quite fun.
Go after midnight and walk the placetill 5am.
Not one will disturb you. Sometimes, just go find your own things yourself, can find surprises.
Depends on what you want to buy. The place is not smelly like what some people think it is.
A number of stuff you can get cheaper than other places in Singapore:
1) Vitamins, supplements
2) electrical products
3) some toiletries
4) chocolates
5) Printers, printer cartridges
6) Toys
and others you can explore
And I love their packaged rolled cinnamon sticks, great as a stirrer for coffe.
Their ginger powder, great to use to soak the body in the hot bath tub. Encourage sweating. Just wrapped oneself in comforter and sleep.
Their variety of figs with walnuts, the big packets of chocolates, dried uncooked flower shape and colour edge crackers, those satin bedsheet sets, cups and bowls & their home tools......
If you want 24hr shopping
well, bangala shopping center...
Mustafa has all sorts of stuff to provide. If I did not see wrongly, they do sell incense papers, joss sticks.

ya so..
the verge (aka tekka mall) oso the same wat but now undergoing renovations..
Some things are worth buying from there like the electrical appliances and electronic goods and I found out they even have a book store somewhere at the top level where the prices are a lot cheaper than the ones at Popular Books Store. But I stay away from the perfume department cuz I dont know if some of them are genuine or fake and I am also beginning to wonder about the cheap supplements and vitamins sold there.Dont ever buy the VCds sold there where the casing automatically self destruct upon removing the plastic cover and no need to tell you further about the sound quality. On the whole, it is a good place to shop and a shopper's paradise for some.
It provides an alternate shopping experience to the mainstream. Else everywhere else is almost the same. It becomes really boring to go to most malls in Singapore. Almost every main malls have the same shops. Last time Sembawang Shopping Center provides a little of a difference, but now it is just a "any other mall". Only a couple of shopping locations left in Singapore that has it's own unique character. Btw, I don't have much problem shopping at Mustafa...Just that is is more or less a very self service shopping center, which I like, without pesky, hardselling sales people around.
I think it's a good place to look for surprises
I love their pre-marinated Masala Chicken Wings or whatever they call it from the Frozen Section. Can only find it at Mustafa. Very nice to eat
Also love their instant Cardamon Milk Tea . This helps to aid digestion
The dish washing solution for sensitive hands which I use can only be bought from Mustafa and also this shower foam which I love imported from Europe can only be found at Mustafa
Going to Mustafa also gives me the excuse to go to my fav Indian resturant nearby to eat their wonderful curries. Haha

Most drivers and motorcyclist likes to go there, cos can find lots of accessories there.
