  What brands of guitar is good?i wanan buy a good one though i have a Gibson SG...budget is 3000bucks

  You already have a GIBSON SG for crying out loud! Use the money to get a pedal or something.

  There isn't such a thing as a guitar that's better than another, it's all subjective. Even cheap replicas were preferred by Sonic Youth to attain a certain sound. Just try out a number of guitars and go with one you like.

  u can go find out about the guitars by lee zhong sheng.  he manufactures guitars and has presented to some celebrities.    heard it's not bad

  • Epiphone Casino
  • Gretsch (maybe over budget)
  • Rickenbacker 360/6 or 360/12
  • Gibson Les Paul ($3000 is still possible)
  • Fender Telecaster or Strat? (MIA is within range unless vintage)

  Those above are my favorite guitars in the list, and hopefully they are likely in your range or something.

  But I have not have the chance to own Rickenbacker, Gibson LP, Fender Strat (cos no intention of owning one) and Gretsch.

  Try an Ibanez prestige model. I own an RG2570E and it's one of my favourites. Cost me about $2600 plus an extra few hundred for DiMarzio pickups which I swapped the stock ones for so in total approximately $3000. I'd take that over a Fender Strat any day.

  if you are looking for something fun to do try buying parts for a gat and assemble something unique for yourself. I did it with a 2005 deluxe american strat. picked a body, neck, tuners, pickups etc and then sat down and wired it up with some wire and solder.
