Hi peeps,
Another IQ question for you! Got this during my ICT....couple of guys sitting together trying to make smart conversation....anyway, here it goes...
1. There are 10 boxes of ammo rounds.
2. Each box contains 100 rounds and each box is 1kg.
3. However, there is one box that weighs 0.9kg cetera peribus.
4. There is only 1 digital weigh and you can only use it once. Once a result is read, the weight will fail indefinitely.
5. How to find out which is the lighter box of ammo?
Time starts now!
Maybe you put the first box on the weighing thingy. Then just keep stacking the boxes up until you see the 0.9kg increase. Then that will be that lighter box of ammo. =)
Dobule post.
open and check ![]()
check the label on the box?

10 boxes right?
place 1 ammo from the 1st box, 2 ammo from the 2nd box, 3 ammo from the 3rd box etc till the 10th box then weigh them together.
each ammo shud weigh 10g. should the weighing machine show a "9" in its last digit, it means its from the 1st box. if it shows an "8" it means its from the 2nd box. if it shows a "7" then its from the 3rd and so on and so forth
thats the solution?
so . . . . . . . . complicated. . . .

point 4 disable this method.
weight all and take off 1 at a time
get me there. im the ammo stocktake guy. lol..
edited: anyway dibilo shud have gotten it right no? the 0.9kg box having 100rds should have 9gram/rd..
so take 1 rd from bx 1, 2 rds from bx 2 etc etc.. by right should get 550grams.. if box 1 was faulty, den it'll be 549 lo..if box 2, den 548 lo..

you're assuming the difference in due to the lighter box carries a diff kind of ammo.
