Why do tourists come to S'pore?

Why do tourists come to Singapore? although i love singapore, there really isn't much to do here, there's no scenery and the people here aren't known to be helpful and have bad reputation. so what do u think the reason is?

Coz Singapore has many Shopping Centre and it Hot Country ba, and it has many foods that ur country dun have like Rojak,Mee Rebus/Siam n Popiah,Laska and so on

but singapore is known to be one of the most expensive cities, why not go hongkong, macau, other tourist sites that are cheaper? but i do agree with the point on food.

where got tourist?
woodlands checkpoint data, who are them? mostly ilegal worker come with social visit visa aka tourist, but daily in out work without work permit in singapore,
motor cycle rider, easy 50,000 per day

they have many reasons. but i can tell you most 'tourists' like singapore and have a gd impression of the country after they've been there.
but of course, as a 'tourist'. most of the time, you only see the 'good'-side of a place...who will go to new york to look at the homeless?

cos if u go hong kong/macau most of the time u will get "stomach ache" from the food u ate there
things there is cheap... but sometimes u might go to jail

a lot of trips is thailand + malaysia + singapore. singapore gets one day. hehe. or worse, some get half a day in singapore.

Singapore is safe lah, clean lah, everything within walking distance or bus distance lah.
And Singaporean speaks inklish.

Food and some nice places such as the zoo, etc. The rest, I'm not sure.

they wanna see wot a Disneyland with a death penalty looks like...
got seen angmohs walking around barefoot before...their country must be really hell dirty if they dun do it there...my mom says the streets of amsterdam smells of piss and dog shit...

Singapore is safe - as in tourist can stay out til late night n don worry coz streets are lighted everywhere.. back at their country, they cant stay out til 3am without feeling vulnerable..
Easy to find food and a whole range at that.. After midnight also still can find food..
Easy to find toilet and clean ones at that.. At Armsterdam, there's only 1 pathetic toilet every 4 to 5 blocks.. and its freakin' dirty n u haf no choice..
They like the sunny Singapore with the sand and sea and all other attractions they've heard before.. -
we have transitlink, but to tourists, singapore is transit-king... you can fly to most major cities with any airline from singapore esp. singapore airlines
