  Heard before that proposal ring must use your two months salary. Around 4k is good i think. Plus heard on radio this method. The guy go write their story into a book, then the girl read, last page is Will you marry me?

  just remember that proposal rings don't have to be diamond rings and you'll find your budget suffecient.

   

  too many ppl forget that it is only recently that diamonds solitaires became popular on proposal rings.
