popular bookstore @ bukit panjang plaza.
i suggest a lamy safari/al star if it's your first fountain pen. cheap + very good quality/reliability. my al star is one of my best writers. don't really have good impressions of those parker pens you see in popular. you can get a safari for $35 if i remember correctly from mustafa. places like times, kino and other upmarket bookshops will sell them for around $45.
A fountain pen can last a lifetime, don't just base your purchase on location =)
Is someone planning on calligraphy projects?
Or has training from UK legal personnels to use fountain pens?
Orchard Road vely vely far iszit?
This thread is a little old now, but I'm actually curious about this too. I've recently started using fountain pens, and I only have a Parker Latitude, which isn't the best writer. I've ordered a Reform 1745, and it's supposed to be good, but I haven't tried it out yet. Does anybody know of any decent stores in Singapore that carry a wide range of fountain pens and inks? Kinokuniya probably has a few, but not many. And what about vintage pens?
