Very sad...last 2 days...or is it 3 days....I could not sleep due to mosquitoes problem...
It started to happen several days ago....I awoke periodically with itches on my legs, and I just couldnt sleep.
Last night I was at my wits end, so I aroused and put on some lotions on my legs. I believe it was suncreen lotion. Then I could sleep for a bit, but then I got awoken again, this time by itches on my arms. But miraculously I noticed there was no itch on my legs, so I conclude the lotion therapy works, and it was indeed mosquitos (I was unsure whether it was mosquitos or bed bug or something else). So I arouse another time and applied lotions on my arms, hands, fingers, and went back to sleep.
I think tonight I will try something else.
go get a citronella plant and put it in your room ......
use mosquito coil
try using citronella.. the mosquitoes and lots of other insects hate that...
can use essential oils in an oil burner thingy... or stick the patches..
lotions trick the mosquitoes as they are attracted by carbon dioxide emissions along with heat..
it sound like bed bugs more than mosquitoes. Take your mattress to sun and change your bedsheet.
1 week ago i had this problem too
waking up in the middle of night finding myself scratching here and there
i ended up burning mosquito coil
but burning mosquito coil does not help because got 1 night i didn't burn, and they are back to bite me
if your scared coils wil burn down your house. try the electronic ones.

i recommend mosquitoe coil after trying a few ways to get rid of it. mosquitoe coil works the best, very effective. Sometimes I even have coil in the toilet while i bath.

WOW.
I would get up, turn on the lights, use my legs as bait, and hunt it down, then go back to sleep.![]()
Alternatively, get those citronella patches sold at supermarkets/pharmacies. They work pretty well, I know coz I used them outfield.
But the best way is to blow up an LPG canister in the surrounding area, I accidentally did that before outfield, that night was unusually quiet, couldn't even hear a damn cricket.![]()
