hi,I like swimming a lot. but I can't catch up any singaporean swimmer.lol.I learnt swimming from my friend by seeing his swimming.
I prefer swimming at the beach. However I'm not too sure at which beach, water is clear and calm and the bottom of beach is sandy and even. For swimming pool, which one is more clean and less chlorinated water.

Agreed
Southern islands.
Yio Chu Kang is THE best. lol
Erm
Wad about East Coast Beach?
The clearest beach I have see so far in Singapore is Kusu Island. But have to pay $15 for a round trip ferry ticket to get there and have to be aware of time so that you would not miss the last boat out. Basically you would be stuck on the island till the next ferry time and don't think there is any food or drink stalls over there. Think have to stay within the lagoons as there are strong currents signs outside the lagoon and there are no lifeguards there.

To add on,
There are two lagoons at Kusu, the more preferred is the one facing Lazarus island with a distant view of Batam islands on the left.
There are 3 round trips on Saturdays and the most numbers of trips are on Sundays and public holidays, so going there on weekends is advised as more time can be spent on the islands. The ferry will goes to St. John's island first then proceeds to Kusu island.
