CEPAS ... OMG

Just swtiched 2 d new CEPAS less than a month ago, and all of a sudden, the card just not working this evening... Have never expected it to happen so soon...
Any1 encounter the same problem?

I'm not sure if TS is refering to what I've seen, but I've seen a lot of people holding CEPAS cards being unable to use their cards because the reader cannot read the card. Even trying on both readers, but still no response from the reader

Please ensure the reader is CEPAS registered before using CEPAS card on them. Thank you

Bus. Their cards are in the wallet at first. They tap, no response. So they take out card to tap, no response. Try the other reader, also no response. End up have to pay coins

must be due to a faulty "chip" inside the CEPAS..
mine so far has been smooth on both rail & buses..

Rail reader End up buying a single trip ticket as the ticketing office was closed.
