I am sending out an important mail to NTU and would like to reach them asap and safetly. Should i just mail by normal mail? Any suggestions?

just out enought stamps, and write the address clearly will ensure your mail reaches NTU in time. the fastest it will be delivered is 1 working day -

if need to send it in 1 day and need someone to sign to acknowledge it, use those local courier service...... those bike service.....
speedpost is chop carrot head prices
if u want to save some money, use singpost registered mail
but will reach the next or next next business day depends on the PO's cut-off time -
paisei out of topic. kns i ordered one item through normal mail and the person said she mailed out on monday, until now i haven't received yet.

if she mailed after 5pm or 7pm on monday (depends on her location's collection timing) then it would be considered tuesday's collection
which means u shd get on wednesday, or thursday (today)
and this time the postman probably haben come yet so u can wait until after 3pm to see
give them some grace since they are "one of the best in the world"
if by friday (tml) u still no receive, tell your seller to send enquiry to singpost
normal mail no have tracking but they will still "monitor" it for u
and if u are lucky, the mail will pop up some days later
if not, then probably some alien abducted it somewhere in the mail processing and enjoying the item now -
i would go for the registered mail..

i just went to open mailbox. finally received my mail!! thank goodness. i was worried cos normally i will receive items within 1 or 2 days. this one was a little too long.

Note: All sent by on Monday - no PH inbetween and all sent to same destination
Sg post branches
1. from Raffles place - reach the destination by next 3 days
2. from Bras Basah - reach the destination by next 14 days
3. from Yishun - reach the destination by next 8 days
4. from Toh Payoh - reach the destination by next 9 days
5. from Buikit Batok - reach the destination by next 5 days
6. from Somerset - reach the destination by next 4 days
7. from CCK - reach the destination by next 12 days

wa i dint know will generate so much responses. Thanks, but i sent the mail by normal mail liao though =S. Never try registered mail before. I heard registered mail quite mafan right? If the intended recepient never sign it, then the need head down to the post office to collect. Abit noob to say this, but if suay suay no one collects it at NTU den sian liao. Ya cos never tried b4.. so i jus went for the normal mail. Just hope it will get through. First time worry so much bout an document though haha. Oh ya, btw i send it before 11am on thurs. So probably it will reach today(fri)?

Hmm, can i request that dont need to sign? Just make sure gurantee chop place it in their letterbox? e.g. NTU's letterbox? To me, most impt is that it arrive at the correct place. -

the only good thing about registered mail is tat u can track where ur mail is if u lost it. other than tat for ur case, i think is very mafan one.
