oh dear
i got two friends working in stanchart
yah, quite true, changing signatory is a routine procedure, usually can clear fast one
It is indeed interesting how no one can have access to the "backend" people, not even if i go down to the bank personally. And guess what was suggested to me? I can try to issue a cheque and if it bounced, means the signatory hasn't been changed. And yes I would be charged the penalty.
who is their sales officer?
you can try complain to him
cannot have access to backend people is a poor excuse though, my client service team talks to the backend people all the time, and changing of signatory wont take u more than a day to confirm
These are replies given to me by their consultant, financial manager and customer service officers lor. The way they put it is that these backend people are so secretive that they cannot see them, cannot call them, dunno what they are doing and the only form of access to them is through email of which the reply is at their SOLE DESCRETION.
What arrogance....
Anyway I've lodged an official complaint via their feedback corner and forwared the complaint to Stomp and ST forum... lets see what happens
me nit to go to the bank oso bt me hv been so bz.
bz ish gd... now time so bad u stil bz means ur time ish gd....
front size too small la
u can move your face closer to the screen
bizness so gd, hw to b free. ![]()
if your company is a big client...
uniquely singapore. we have large corporations which have powers over us or over smaller businesses. They dont give a hoot about us as our country is corporate favourable towards this large corporations. Consumers dont have a say.
If u are a small business, good luck.
big fish gets bigger small fish gets eaten....
well i mean every business is concerned about profits.. more so for corporations like SCB.. if you are a big client, you will have a personal RM to run your needs so yeah it's different..
ya but this procedure of changing signatory requires no rocket science lor. How is it even possible that the bank managers and consultants have no access to the backend people and cannot even check if the signatory has been changed? And they can even suggest that I try issue a cheque and see if it bounces....
SCB so big and established cannot be so primitive right....
The bank manager can tell me that she has customers who applied for 2 months and until now still haven't done.
Now we don't even dare to deposit cash into the account fearing we cannot get the money out when we need them.
This is real bad

is yours a large sum? large sums may have delays.
next time get a official memo from the bank about the delay with their official letter head to show to yr business partners that the problem was not yours.
Did u think of that? If they even refust that, then they are truly f&cked up.
his muz b a beri small company.
put in $$$ oso scared bank eat.
well yah what's your usual transaction value? i seldom encountered such problems and my company do use SCB... and usually after we sent letter or director's resolution they will reply within 2/3 weeks..
well our monthly transactions not exactly big, around 5-6 figures monthly. But what has transaction figures gotta do with changing of signatory? Does it mean that because our company dun transact millions a month means they cannot change our signatory?
