Actually, there were no North or South Korea...it is a pity it is now divided into 2...
Judging by the circumstances in the North, North Korea will sooner or later exist in name only....
The past glory of a unified Korea is gone....
i do still hope for a unified korea either by 'the german way' or by force. until then we will have to wait for ah kim to up lorry.
A brand new ideology to unify Korea.....Nazism....capitalism, monarchy.....or allow South Korea to slowly absorb North Korea.....
the south was actually absorbing north korea slowly already by the sunshine policy but
after lee myung bak assumed office and acts on his hardline stance the game have been
scared off and the north chases all the southerners out of the north(Kaesong industry city)
Not only that the northern government has put their hawkish generals into key positions,

if got war, china + other communist countries may help north korea in funding, manpower, weapons, technology...etc.

Suppose what you said comes true. Which side do you think is Singapore going to be on? Is Singapore a really democratic country?
although i have doubt that it will support south korea, but i am sure that singapore wun be
so stupid to support the north. it will hurt singapore's international images. unless china
gives singapore 'incentives and rewards' for supporting their side, which i dun tink is
possible, the chinese dun think too highly on us(other than we help them solve their
unemployment problem). the olympic torch not coming here during beijing 2008 says
quite a lot already.

I don't think the torch relay means that much. I remember that Singapore was very supportive of the Chinese government's crackdown on tibet.
North Korea won exist for another 50 years.. Sooner or later ROK will invade DPRK in full force.. Or that the DPRK will crumble itself and ROK simply march into Pyongyang.
North Korea is very weak in actual fact.. they are just trying to give the impression that they are strong by conducting nuclear tests.

That communist country has 1 million soldiers and missiles that can attack as far as Japan. Don't you think it is strong? I always think the only chance to overthrow that regime lies in the anger of its own people (especially its own army).

Not all of them. Kim is a very cunning person. He always supplies the military forces first whenever there are foods(some of the foods are supplied by ROK and PRChina).

Congee? That's a luxury... People there really have nothing to eat. Pyongyang is a showcase capital, only the politically privileged are allowed to live there. Foreigners can only go to Pyongyang, and that is why you never seem to see any Pyongyanger skinny or obese. It is just for show! Out in the countryside beyond Pyongyang it is a different situation.
