What goes around comes around .
What goes up must come down .
How many of you people out there believe that there is really such thing as karma.
If you do believe and experienced karma in your life before pls share your story .
I believe in karma. And it has happened to me .
No one can prove the existence of karma because no-one can actually remember their past lives and what exactly they have done to warrant their benefits in their current life. Nor can anyone remember their previous lives to recall what bad stuff they did to warrant their current misery in this life.
Sorry. I don't believe in Karma the way some Buddhists do. I do not think you can get good merits by purchasing fish and setting them "free" only to be caught or cultivated again for do-gooders to purchase and set free.
Truly setting things free would be excusing yourself from re-union dinner at a CHinese resteraunt, walking into the kitchen and snatching some pomfret from the tank and then throwing them into the sea, without paying for it. Thus I have experienced good karma.
If more people are being born in this world, and if good karma gets you reborn into better "planes" or existence (animal.. human.. martian.. etc), then it should follow that more sentient beings on earth are reaping good karma which is why we have more humans. So the world is a product of goodness
The quest for cultivating karma can be immoral, if you only do good for the sake of karma as a sort of insurance for future existence- kind of like CPF ;)
Just my thoughts.
Care to share how exactly Karma has "happened" to you?

i believe in taking an active role when it concerns someone else's karma
I hope you are not confused between Karma and "Natural Consequences" of your actions?
Karma is a belief and "Natural Consequences of your actions" is reality.

This person is trying to mix Buddhism with Christianity.Namo Amituofo!
As far as karma brings me..
Most often than not, karma always happen to me in short period of time. The world is round.
Helping others, in terms of verbal and actions make you feel good, can help you gain merits in your life, be it later or next life. Why not do good?

what do you mean by natural consequences ?
The karma i`m talking about is . Like for exmaple if u do something bad to another person . Somehow or rather someone else will do something bad to you in furture. or maybe something else bad will come to you in future.
I find it very true . what goes up must come down . law of nature.
You reap what you sowed.
