what made you think they were ripping you off?
depends on the frame, type of lens and the degree. Price varies.
yeah... how you know that they are ripping you off?
and whats your budget? The degree of "Inexpensive" varies among people.

wahhh, i can sense ur buey song-ness..
unless you compare 5-6 shops and same location but one shop charge you over recomended retail price then is considered ripping you off.
just because someone else wants to under charge doesn't mean the rest are over charging.

I think thats for frames and standard lens. If you want ultra thin lens, then the price will change.

Too expensive? ![]()
Err....ripping off....versus lasik....
$2,105 can be used to buy at least 20 spectacles if standard lenses, 40 if we used the price you mentioned. 40 spectacles can last at least 40 years. Lasik can have problems, or you can recover your eyesight and still spoil it again.
Oh well.....what do I know...
Me near perfect eyesight.
Lucky you. I am almost blind.
Thx. I'll check it out later.
Well, I may be quite "cheapo" comparing with this expensive city and thus I dont wanna waste a cent.
is u a local?

Serious, check out the hdb central neighbourhoods. Walk around and you will find cheapo prescription glasses services and various barang barang.
I had 2 ultra light weight glasses done at Optical 88 at $88/- then. Its tinted prescription glasses, but I hardly wear them.
They however make quite a fashion statement for being really really lightweight and I wear them for weapons shooting instead of my normal safety glass.
