There is not one solid fact as to the origins of the Xenomorph species. Instead are many assumptions, which can neither be confirmed nor denied.
The most commonly accepted theory is that they evolved naturally on a planet much different from our own.
Other theories state they were created by another race, perhaps the Yautja (Predator) as an "ultimate prey". Another theory in the form of scientific creation says that they were created by a race only to known to us as simply Space Jockeys as a biological weapon for the purposes we also don't know.

xenomorphs are the creatures which appear in one of Hollywoods all time best sci fi horror creature fest The Alien Franchise.
And the generation now watch the sucky AVP movies will know these creatures
before AVP there were separate 4 Alien and 2 Predator movies

Alien (1979)
Directed by Ridley Scott, When a mining ship Nostromo lands on a desolated planet to investigate upon a suspected SOS signal, the entire crew are unaware of extraterrestrial lifeforms residing on the planet. Unbeknownst to everyone, this is the start of the terror which would affect every member of the seven person crew.Only one of the members, Lt Allen Ripley survives the ordeal. Won Oscar. Aliens (1986)
Directed by James Cameroon, 57 years after her ordeal with the extraterrestrial creature from Nostromo, Ellen Ripley is rescued by a deep salvage team during her hypersleep. When radio transmissions from a mining and research facility colony, LV-426 that has since settled on the alien planet suddenly stop, Ripley is offered a chance to team up with a group of highly trained marines sent by the US government on a rescue mission to the planet. Won 2 Oscars. Another 15 wins & 21 nominations for outstanding special effects , sound editing, production and story.

Alien 3 (1993)
Directed by David Fincher. After the last encounter on LV-426 and returning home to earth, Ripley crash lands on Fiorina Fury 161, a prison planet inhabited by the inmates of the planet's maximum security prison which houses the worst psychopaths, serial killers and rapists.Unfortunately, although the rest do not survive the crash, a more unwelcome visitor does. When a "serial killer" starts to turn up, Ripley discovers that a creature that is unlike the previous ones encountered before is running lose on the facility. With no weapons of any kind, and with aid being a long time away, Ripley teams up with the prisoners to trap the creature in a deadly game of hide and seek once and for all and in the process discovers that there is one inside herself.Nominated for Oscar. 3 wins & 16 nominations, 1993 BAFTA Film Award and 1993 MTV Movie Award Best Action Sequence chase through a tunnel.

Alien Resurrection (1997)
Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, 200 years later, due to vast advances in cloning technology Lt.Ripley is cloned from the dead by tissue samples on the USM Auriga, a research facility floating in the outskirts of deep space for the purpose of bioweapons research. The Alien creatures have been cloned along with Ripley and kept in confinement. When a team of interspace smugglers who supply illegal human specimens for experiments arrive on the facility,they got more than they bargained for when the creatures break loose.
Ripley, along with the crew of smugglers , must now escape from the creatures. Along the way, Ripley discovers that the perilous ship is hotwired to return to Earth with the creatures which may result in the end of mankind. 4 wins and 14 nominations.

Gawdamnit.. until today i still get nightmares of these things coming after my ass man.. in the dream always ended up dying under thier claws , or tail whip. The scariest is when the inner teeth punches a hole into my brains... brrrr..

i watched them all more than a 100 times and i still never get bored of them (the stupid b-movies alien vs predator not counted).
