No. Stuffed toys are real. So they are not imaginary. haha
My smelly pillow used to be my best friend. My mom very cruel, threw my "best friend" away without me knowing.

No, if stuffed toys don't count... I think it's damn scary if you have an imaginary friend...
This is serious and no laughing matter. I know of people who claims to have imaginery friends. The sad thing is that they are often ridiculed and denigrated.
I believe that imaginary friends are grown out of loneliness by people who create an ideal of a person or role model that he/she can find solace and comfort in. These people faced problems at home or at work and have problem interacting with real people-could be a number of issues like family divorces, bullying, etc.
They must not be avoided. They are not mad. They are as human as you and I are. Only friendships and patience can draw them out, for in their mind, these friends are real and will either turn to angels who may help if he/she had real friends or proper directions, or devils who may harm when he/she grows up bullied or perceived slights.
It hurts so much to see a child of only 10 talking to an imaginary friend, and being bullied by real peers as a fruitcake. It will only drive them deeper into a delusive world. He/she, is only one of us, a flawed human, with similar hopes and dreams......Please help him/he, not make fun....
