Pointless to be punctual..?

Currently in NUH Clinic E(Eye) for an apppointment... My appointment was scheduled at 1350hrs... I wasn't late at all, in fact I arrived 5 mins early to register... However it took them 1.5hrs to call me in fer the check up... Here's the issue, why arrange an appointment if its going to take them 1.5hr to call me in... I don't expect to be called in immediately but 1.5hr is way too long for an appointment... Any views..?

mmmmm, maybe the previous patient causes the long wait?
if u never book appt, u might wait longer?

they dont want to waste time waiting for patients so they create this safe time buffer.........but created it too big.
Write in to complain, they will change the policy sooner or later

yeah there very long!!!!
lucky my appointments at heart centre are punctual. sometimes i go the further distance park the car at URA parking lots opposite the new bridge road terminal, tear 1hr coupon also enough! so effectively, park > walk > register > wait > see doc all less than 1hour! -

why didnt u ask them? demand an explanation and apology....
if i were you, i will be angry and ask tthe people there what took them so long.................

yea, if im asked to wait for more than an hour, i would definitely ask them to justify it. make a scene, demand an explanation....
time = money u know......
but i think its quite standard for hospitals to have a long waiting time....but usually not more than 30mins i think....?

2 hrs is the norm.........if u think since going to wait, next time shall go late

I seem to see the doctor within 30mins of appointment at ttsh.
it's the hospital that is at fault lar.

the trick is to come 5-10mins before your appointment time.
then you get your queue number.
then from there, you just use your intelligence to gauge how much time you have lor looking at the current queue number, giving one patient 5mins. then go walk2.
but i never had a problem with the wait. mine very fast.
maybe i is elite?????????
