Wire transfer

  hi all,

  if i need to send $ to USA (to a US bank, to be exact), where is the cheapest and safest way to do it? POSB? DBS? because i know money orders through these banks are quite expensive (due to service charges), but not sure about wire transfer.

  if anyone has used wire transfer before, pls share some advice here.
