i personally like singing a lot.
just curious, is there any place to learn singing at a cheaper rates?
or just keep singing urself is enough?
i just wanna learn some singing basics.. it is rather enjoying to sing..
i find my singing not bad leh.. but i dunno how my friends think...
everytime i sing they say wah so awful.. but i dunno they joking or wat.. especially i just started singing they say its awful...
however there is one or two say i sing very nice...
have any of u guys learn singing or been to a singing lesson b4? share ur experience pls thanks :)

I learnt singing by practise and listening to audio files tutorials.
My singing is alright, at least when I finish my songs in pubs and ktvs, i get applause and stuffs.
Most importantly I think is to be able to control your pitch to suit the songs and to have your own style.

firstly, girl have little armpit hair, they shave, wont come out fast, wont have much spikes.
do u ever see ur father shave? well a lot man dun...try asking around.. if u are that wierd, than i have no need to talk sense...

Dont waste money on singing lessons unless you hope for a chance to be recognised. Then you go for that, then join singing competition, any place that can showcase yourself... Been good in singing not going to land yourself being singer. You need to be good in other respective areas... And also the lucky chance to be like by the professionals in the music industry.
Otherwise, save the money for karaoke.
Step 1: to listen to the songs for a few times, remember the tunes.
Step 2: in karaoke, try to get the tunes and tempo right, record yourself and listen to check.
Step 3: ok, now your tunes & tempo nearly there correctly, it about your own feeling, how happy, how sad you feel then apply them in your singing.
Vocal Teacher like to teach breathing & dan tian. But actually, when we speak, depend on emotions, we used dan tian already. And when you are out of breath, you naturally will breath.

If one can talkcock like sing song then why need Singing lessons for?

Some video example from a person without formal singing lessons. This guy (not me but witness him on singing contest and karaoke session in the past) just keep singing and join competitions. Also won some nice trophies.

There are other ktv khakis that sing well too. Also without singing lessons. Just keep singing and go karaoke.

TS, check out the CC. some CC do conduct such lessons. Rates cheaper than other places.

because singapore do not know how to train singers. they have to go to taiwan. look at wang jing lun then you knoe le but learn for fun ok la. for interest lo.

practice singing online at karaoo http://www.karaoo.com lo... a lot of ktv videos la.. u can switch off the vocal and sing.. dont have to pay money la..

just get ur lyrics right first..
singing is easy when u noe how to control ur vocal.
try to sing unplugged n solo, then move on to K Box n sing.
find a reli truly good fren to go with u.. comment on ur singing.

actually i have no intention to take up a singing lesson from the start...
but i know nothing bout this type of lesson... so i post this thread.. and yeah i sing very frequently to myself...
so singing to urself is as effective as going to singing lesson...
