I heard artists need to propose their artworks and wait in queue before painting at the somerset legal graffiti wall.Is this freedom of expressions here when artists are painting for free??Wont this just worsen the situation to stop illegal graffiti from existing here? The only place to express art are now being controlled too.Should singapore have more legalized walls for real graffiti artists to express themselves in a bigger scale?Even most asian countries have legal walls 10 times bigger than over here and their graffiti artists do create a lot of amazing works.Aerosol artists in SG are known to be the best in south east asia but they just dont have the spaces.I don't really support vandals but if they have the space,i dont see why they need to go out to the streets.maybe its just the way to create awareness that they need something more from society???
