I was delighted that at last, M1 came up with an attrative student plan to rival Singtel and Starhub. With its benefits, i can spam smses all day long with no worries. xD
Jus to share with you guys, the awesome benefits>>
1. Unlimited Free Calls to 3 M1 Friends (WAGs) xD
2. Unlimited sms to any number
3. Free Data Bundle (worth $5.35)
4. Per Second Billing (pay wat u use, use wat u pay)
5. Free Campus Calls
6. Free Incoming
Really awesome stuff, now i can cut down loads on phone bills. Great deal!

iOneValue Plan. Youth Plan. Too bad promotion over already. got it last year in nov-dec period at Suntec.heh heh...
Im on singtel's student NUS plan thing; whereby i think i can call people for free on campus, but they have to be Singtel subscribers as well.. or something like that. Really confusing. Maybe i ought to switch, but i'm sure i can only do so in 2022 or something haha.
But that free campus calls only applies to NUS right? Not to NTU or SMU right?
really?
haha, of course besides the extra benefits, standard usage is still around.
Free outgoing:
100min (sunsaver) 300min (sunsaver plus) 700min (sunmax)
all time incoming free
unlimited sms to any operator
unlimited calls to 3 M1 frens
mobile data worth $5.35
campus call and per second billing
And if your on a mutiple line, u get 25-35% off suscription.
ipod can talk to you
After 4 years of mobile service with M1, i switched to Starhub, here are the reasons:
1) What you subscribed to and the the actual bill reflected every month was horrible
2) When i'm using Starhub, i kept my M1 sim card with me due to few mths more to go b4 i can terminate, i still received bills stating that i made $1.30 call for the month when i don't even use the sim card?
3) Called to terminate last week, the operator even gave me a D.I.Y plan free for first 6 months, not that attracting, i thought i terminated but i called back and they say they'll reserve my number for 7 more days to see if i'm interested in their service last min and tht resulted in paying for another mth bill.
Student plan for $25.65 when i use moderately , i received bill of up to $140. Thats crap.
Now that i'm using Starhub 300; $45/mth i receive bill not exceeding $50 when my usage is the same when im using M1. really horrible
Now that they came out with Per Second Billing (pay wat u use, use wat u pay), prepare to get a shock at what you're paying every mth =/
Lol, i totally disagree. You should have suscribed to the $45 plan in the first place instead of the $25.65 plan when u KNEW your usage will be alot more higher. So choose the price plans wisely.
1) suscribing to a $45 plan. they will have 300min of outgoing talk time free, then in that case, the extra usage charge will of course be lower.
2) Telcos will nv make silly mistakes by increasing or doubling ur bill for no reasons, if not they would have been bankrupted by now as they have to pay compensations for that. So it's either you didnt read the T&C properly or ur usage really did went up to that amt.
no worries, i'm sure this new offer will go on for quite awhile...
