i need to buy some wrapping materials (small cardboard boxes etc).
according to a website, they say got this place which sells lots of these wrapping boxes.
the location is:
-------------------------------
best place for wholesale plastic bags and wrapping material at queen street, next to the bus 170 terminal with you find those xpress bus to JB, just opposite the golden landmark hotel.
-------------------------------
where is queen's street / golden landmark hotel?
if there's anyone familar with that area, it would be even better if you could advise the location of the shop, because queen's street is so big and i can't go around the whole place trying to find 1 shop.

yes Angel is correct. very near bugis MRT station. no need to venture the whole queen street
quite suprising you dont know queen street or even golden landmark hotel..
anyway, I think the place TS is mentioning is Rocher Centre....
Sungei Road Market la
but i guess it's the building in front of FLS complex
big??
is there any where in SG tt can be called big?
thanks, but outside of Bugis MRT is that Bugis village liao, with the KFC and that shopping center (Metro).
so, i assume it's those mom-and-pop shops along those stretch? bugis area is big enough to be overwhelming for me.
sorry, but i'm a real sua-ku and i hate bugis area cos' it's so crowded and hot and stuffy.
did "they" say is bugis?
Victoria Street Wholesale Centre?
yeah
wrap with abalone cans
bugis mrt walk up got one raffles hospital...it's near there
Don't think the whole wholesale centre sells abalone only right?
"best place for wholesale plastic bags and wrapping material"
thanks guys!! i may try that vic street wholesale center.
maybe it's that one. but then, the location says queen street, not vic street.

You can access the wholesale centre from Queen St although the address of it is Victoria St.
y not u juz visit daiso?
from wat i know, the wholesale centre shifted to the temp wholesale centre cum food centre juz outside the bugis mrt station exit (with carpark and newspaper kiosk).

The wholesale centre shifted from Clarke Quay area, the place where the shopping mall Central now stands. It is now at Victoria St and doesn't shift any further.
The temporary market and food centre near the MRT station exit, is shifted from its permanent location at Albert Street, will shift back once the upgrading completes.
oic..
thanks all! :-D
btw, does this wholesale center have a name or something?
in case i go to find it and can't find it, at least i can ask passer-bys about the name and maybe they might know.
btw, what does daiso sell? sorry, i've heard of daiso everyday but i think they only sell drinks and food? something like that S$1.99 shop last time? i don't think they sell wrapping materials and stuff.

Didn't I mentioned it above? It's Victoria St Wholesale Centre. It's just across the road from the temporary market / food centre.
