i just bought a set of formal wear, and it doesn't suit me well
i'm 166 and 70kg(yeah, short and stocky)
i'm having a presentation this friday and i'm worried about what to wear
what i currently have is a shirt, black pants, tie
i tried them at the store and the indivisual fits alright
it was till when i got home and wore everything,
the problem was that the tucking in of the shirt make my attire look inproper(not untidy)
so is there anyone who can suggest how to solve this misharp???
e.g suggest a formal wear which doesn't require tucking in(which i highly doubt exist)
wear a blazer over it lor.
go starch + iron ur shirt...
wear shirts with vertical lines. they make u appear taller and thinner.
dont get those with horizontal lines. they'll make u look fatter.
and u might want to get shoes with higher soles instead. to make urself look taller.
ultimately, just appear confident and everything will be all right.
so get a blazer with vertical line?
i tink ts problem is, when he wears the shirt, got extra fats so look sloppy.
why i noe? Coz me aso liddis. TSK.
M.... Ok. Vertical lines. Tailored pants. And don't wear them too high when you tuck your shirt in.? Should be ok i guess. and if you want a cleaner cut with lesser crumpled material. Tailor the pants and formal long sleeves you bought exactly to ur body. You won't regret it. Gives a very neat and smart crisp look
i find it funny that tucking in would make the attire look messy... i think you should make sure the top and bottom are properly ironed out, and like the others have said, to give an impression you are a tad taller try wearing shirts with vertical stripes. if you have a blazer you can wear it over the shirt but without the tie please, presentation no need so overkill la.

Ah, tucking in will make it look messy when the formal long sleeve isnt fitting. Cause the fabric around ur stomach will crumple when its not fitting.
