I had a China classmate which went oversea with me for intership. She went and told everyone else that Singapore has no tradition and boring stuff... then she turned to the foreigners and told them how great China is... This made me piss off. Now I don't care what she thinks already cause i think she don't want to come back again. She got the contract with government that study 3 years here and then she have to work for 2 years here. She said she don't want to work here for the 2 years.
Is Singapore acting like a global hub in spite to place Singapore onto the world map by dishing out special privilleges to foreigners like scholarships, citizenships and work permits instead of performing the actual functioning of a nation by its own?
Stop pushing the blame to globalisation. You dont see nations around the world welcoming foreigners with wide open arms. Stop telling me to accept competition. You have no rights to preach competion with me when you have no other political opponent in the government. Is this nation a transit point or a place we call home.
