Robber of Sg couple in JB beaten up

hahaha. U guys saw the news today. He was on the motorbike and tried to tug away the handbag of the missus. Husband tried to stop him was knocked aside. Car wash attendant goes after him. Robber gets hit by reversing truck and falls on the ground.
Now, approx 10 passer-bys go to beat him up. And 30 mins later, the police came. In msia, it's lydat. If the public catches a robber, they will beat him up. Police will stay one side first and then intervene just in case before the bugger dies.
Why sg not lydat one??

hmm.. got good got bad la.. Imagine this happens in SG, one day some robber snatch a lady's purse and run. While running past you, he decides to drop the loot and throws it into your hands.
The angry crowd who finally chases up from behind sees the purse in your hands and decides that you're the one, and beats you up, how?
A boat can ferry people, it can also drag down it's passengers into the water in a matter of seconds.. Advantages / disadvantages..

I think its a possibility that the robbers can sue those who beat him up.

Passerby who sees the robbery kills the robber.

i watched several cases before.all beaten up first before being dragged to police stn.some even worse,police themselves beat the robber or thief in the police stn.

i think this sort of beatings should be encourage to deter robbers and would-be robbers. since the police are not putting up an effort to convey the message that "crimes pay" to the robbers, the public should step in.

Such motorcycle snatch thieves had caused the death of many victims. So the public there really hate them i believe.

Poor thing, nowadays recession is causing many people to live with additional stress in their lives.
And they had to take it out on this robber.
This proves that those ten people are selfish and only cared about relieving themselves of their stress at the misfortune of others.
Robber is also human and also have families and loved ones. I don't understand why it is necessary to unleash so much inhumane hatred upon a fallen robber.
And it's not funny at all.
